Gall bladder laparoscopic Surgery
The gall bladder is a small organ under the liver. It collects digestive liquid called bile. Small, hard deposits forms in the gall bladder called gall stones.
During laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, several small incisions are made in the abdomen, through which a tiny camera (laparoscope) and surgical instruments are inserted. The surgeon uses the camera to visualize the gallbladder on a monitor and performs the surgery by manipulating the instruments through the small incisions. The gallbladder is then removed through one of the incisions.
